Pasta Recipe: Follow these simple steps to make dairy-free, raw pasta at home!
Making your own pasta at home is quick, simple, and hassle-free before you add
your favourite sauce!
Ingredients: Cooking Time: 15 mins
· 150 gms flour
·
150 gms semolina/suji
·
1/2 tsp salt
·
3/4 cup water
·
2 tsp olive oil
· 2 egg
·
Turmeric (optional)
Preparation:
Salt, flour, and semolina are combined in a bowl. Make a well, then
fill it with water and olive oil. Mix everything up thoroughly.
Transfer to a work area and knead for 8 to 10 minutes until the
dough is soft and smooth. Roll the mixture into a ball, cover with cling film,
and refrigerate in the fridge for 30 minutes.
After the dough has chilled for 30 minutes, roll it out with a
rolling pin to a thin consistency (thin enough to allow you to just about read
a newspaper through it) (or pasta machine, if you have one).
Dust it with additional flour (to avoid sticking) and roll it
loosely. Cut the roll into strips using an extremely sharp knife.
To unroll, use your fingers
